I found these cute cherubs in the Christmas clearance section. They both looked like the one on the left. I didn't mind the gold, but I like the "old look" better.
I don't like to spray paint everything. I used craft paint, covered a small area, then wiped it off with a rag, leaving the paint in the crevices. I removed the eye hook, and the paint fills up the hole, you don't even know it was there.I did the head separate, one wing at a time, it's easier then covering the whole thing.
The great thing about this paint, if you don't like the way your project looks, you can wash it off in the sink, easily.
You can spray it with sealer when it's dry if you want to.
Hmmm, now what to do with the cherub???

I love your makeover for the angel! I have some from Xmas that are still gold but I wasn't sure what to do with them for Valentine's Day. Thanks! Now I know!

It's just adorable! I love how she is sitting on the edge of the bowl. What a great idea. And the paper shred ~ what a wonderful idea!!
