I just came across a great blog with awesome pictures here. I like the look of open shelving, but the questions is....how much open shelving is too much??? I love this picture, it's just the perfect amount and it has me thinking.....that's never a good thing!

I love the way it looks, worry about the dust on dishes.
i adore open shelves!! i have them in my kitchen! perfect to display my"blue willow" that i use and enjoy everyday...and open shelves also make short work of unloading the dishwasher! lower cabinets are best for all the big, bulky not so pretty kitchen necessities..but for pretty dishes...i just adore open shelves!xo
I think open shelving is gorgeous, but it's not for me. I have too many colors in my cupboards and too many items that would need to be rewashed before using. I adore looking at others' pics of all their pretty white dishes and the tone on tone shelving. Sigh. Maybe someday.
I love it but I would need them up a little higher till a 3 and almost 5 year old got a little bigger.
